Disney Epic Mickey 2 Collectibles

The Wasteland is full of Collectibles to find. Check out this section for help uncovering those hard to find items!
  • Film Reels
Film Reels are found in the 2D Projector Screen levels.
Each level has two paths, with the film reel being found in one of them. The path each character takes is chosen by spinning the gear in front of the projector to move the Oswald and Mickey arms to either side of the screen. If playing in single player, Oswald will not go out of his way to pick up a reel that is in his path. Some levels allow the player to double back into the alternate path.

The Film Reels are used in The Cinema in Mean Street North to allow travel to the different areas of the Wasteland without having to play through the 2D level. If a level has been played through but the Film Reel was not found, it may be purchased in the Cinema. Be advised though - once M&O have traveled to an area through the Cinema projector, they cannot use the Projector Screen at the other end to travel straight back to the Cinema - it will only take them to its original destination, and requires playing through the 2D level.

  • Pins
There are 176 Pins to find throughout the game. Some are used to awaken Spirits. The Pin Trader in Mean Street North has pins for sale and is also the place where Mickey can view the pins he has collected.

Disney Epic Mickey 2 Locations

Each of the Locations in Epic Mickey have much more to do and find than is necessary for completing the Main Quest. These pages offer a guide to Collectibles and other points of interest throughout each area of the Wasteland.
  • Disney Gulch
Disney Gulch is a western themed town filled with Disney debris. It is first entered through the DEC from the Devil's Side of Rainbow Caverns in Episode 1. The area contains a Projector Screen, Night on Bald Mountain, that connects to the Angel Side of Rainbow Caverns.

  • Rainbow Caverns - Angel Side
Rainbow Caverns - Angel Side can be reached by traveling through either of two Projector Screens: the "Night on Bald Mountain" Projector Screen found in Disney Gulch or the "Building a Building" Projector Screen found in the Rainbow Falls Substation.

There is a projector screen on each side of a chasm (the Devil Side of Rainbow Caverns), connected by the Angel's sword, which is raised by pressing buttons on either side, and filled in with paint. The sweepers below must be dealt with in order to cross the sword without it being thinned while Mickey is on it.

  • The Underground
While Mickey and Oswald must traverse a small portion of The Underground to get between Mean Street South and Mean Street North in Episode 1 - The Underground, there is much much more to it than what is seen in that short section. There are numerous entrances to different sections of The Underground, on both sides of Mean Street, and Pins and Hidden Heroes to be found throughout.
Most of these entrances are opened by helping Jamface repair different parts of Mean Street by providing him with scrap metal. Scrap metal can be found all over Wasteland in chests, lamposts, and many other objects. It can also be purchased using generic pins at the Pin Trader in Mean Street North.

Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two Game Info

Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two (known as Disney Epic Mickey: The Power of 2 in Europe) is the sequel to Epic Mickey. The game has a companion called Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion for the Nintendo 3DS.

Like its predecessor, Epic Mickey 2 takes place in a world based on classic and retired Disney characters and attractions. The story begins sometime after the conclusion of the original Epic Mickey, with Oswald and the other Wasteland characters starting to rebuild their world. A series of earthquakes threaten to undo the work, but the Mad Doctor appears and convinces Oswald to join forces and combat the new menace. Ortensia, Oswald's girlfriend, doesn't trust the Doctor, so she and Gus, Oswald's gremlin assistant, bring Mickey Mouse back to Wasteland to help.

The gameplay in Epic Mickey 2 closely resembles that of the original. One of the biggest updates is the addition of Oswald as a supporting character for Mickey; Oswald can either be controlled by the computer or a second player. Oswald uses a remote control in the same basic method as Mickey uses his paintbrush, to attack or befriend enemy characters and to alter the environment as needed to complete tasks. Oswald also has many other abilities, such as flying with his ears, detaching his feet, and so on. There are also some special abilities that can only be used when Mickey and Oswald are working together.
